Mexico’s “2gbenz” secured their second-six-figure score in less than three months over at Natural8 poker with both massive sums being awarded for winning a $10,000 buy-in event. The Mexico-based grinder took down a $300,000 guaranteed High Roller Weekend Main Event on Dec. 31 for $143,560 and this weekend netted $140,687 in a similar tournament!

Thirty-four players bought into the Natural8 Sunday Blade $10K on Mar. 3, smashing the $200,000 guarantee by $129,800. Only the top five finishers received prize money, with a min-cash being worth $20,730.

Last week’s Sunday Blade $10K champion was Canadian superstar “FkTheseGuysBro”. He followed up that victory with a fifth-place finish in this latest $10,000 buy-in affair.

Mexico-based grinder “carsonwentz” busted in fourth-place to lock up $32,934 with Lithuania’s “LaurisL91” seeing his tournament end in third-place, a finish good for $52,322.

This left “AceKing41” of Canada and 2gbanez to lock horns heads-up with $57,562 being the difference between first and second-place. “AceKing41” eventualy collected $83,125 when they fell in second-place and 2gbenz banked $140,687 for their victory.

The Natural8 Sunday Blade $2.5K attracted a field of 62 entries who created a $147,250 prize pool that was almost double the advertised guarantee. The final table of eight all received prizes worth between $5,399 and $45,754.

Perhaps the highest profile poker player at the eight-handed final table was Ukraine’s Roman “SanityWaterline” Romanovskiy who has enjoyed plenty of success at Natural8 of late. The Ukrainian continued his solid run at the site with a fifth-place finish worth $12,468.

“Sense8” was the next to fall, the Austrian walking away with $16,480. They were followed to the rail by another Austrian in the shape of “DanBiz” who scooped a $21,784 prize.

Second-place went to “ImLividBuddy” who took $28,793 back to Thailand, which left Hungary’s “PokerBluff1” to be awarded the $45,754 first-place prize.

The lion’s share of this incredible sum found its way into the PokerStars account of “Lucky_Jew_17” who secured a $117,222 payday after defeating “Iv Run” of China heads-up for the title; Iv Run netted a still respectable $85,061.

All but one of the nine players at the final table won a five-figure score. Ninth-place finisher “Openshoves85” banked $9,016. Brazilian Carlos “CDOSSANTOS95” Dos Santos being the eighth-place finishers for $12,424.

The prize money kept on rising with “Waulker”, “Vera15” and “igor12345673” falling in succession to turn their $109 buy-ins into scores of $17,120, $23,591 and $32,509 respectively.

Fourth-place and a cool $44,796 was awarded to Ukraine’s “SoEzForMe” before “BigStick91” busted in third-place for $61,729.

“hello_totti” is one of the best online poker tournaments of their generation, but even the mighty have to be the bridesmaid sometimes. Hello_totti busted in second-place for $43,842, leaving fellow Russian “DRONCHEK” to bask in the glory of victory along with $56,673 in prize money.
